hats off

I would just like to congratulate the guy that was talking on his cell phone while going through the salad bar today at lunch. Seriously, anyone can talk on the phone while driving or doing transactions at the bank and still somewhat convince themselves that they're not being a nuisance, or at the very least, not being really FLIPPING RUDE! But to be able to do it while going through the salad bar, with the line stacking up behind you, and to be that close to the people you're increasingly inconveniencing, and still feign indifference, well that takes true talent.

1:50

I paid attention to the clock today when I biked into work. It took 1 hour and 50 minutes from the time I woke up to the time I arrived at my cube. This is the maximum time, though, having done many things inbetween. This includes: getting out of bed, going to the bathroom, getting dressed, eating breakfast, emptying the dishwasher, making my lunch, brushing my teeth, flossing, packing my work cloths, getting my bike from the garage, biking to work, showering, shaving, getting dressed, walking from across the parking lot, entering the building and going to my cube.

I'll have to check to see what the time is to do everything if I drive. Theres also lots of things that don't have to get done, at least not always: Shaving, dishwasher. I could make my lunch and pack the night before. I'm trying to always have a bag of bagels handy at work anyway, so I could skip breakfast. Showering? I realized today that I really wasn't that diry, minus the sweat from the previous day. It going to start getting hot soon, though, which means I'll probably be swetting a lot during the night. Hmm.
